- Even though Parlor Games had great branding, they weren’t making enough sales.
- Why? Most women were unsure about buying hormone creams online without a doctor’s prescription. There was a trust issue.

My Solution: A 3-Phase Google Ads Strategy:

We decided to start lean and build smart. With a modest budget of $10/day, our focus was not to “go viral” overnight - but to build trust, educate, and consistently grow.

Phase 1: Established Trust With Just $10/day.

  • I built a strong search campaign around high-intent keywords like
    “estriol cream reviews”, “OTC menopause creams”, “hormone cream for women 45+”, and “estriol cream safe or not”

  • Focused on symptom-based search terms instead of product names to tap into unaware audiences

  • Used ad extensions to link directly to review pages and FAQs to address doubts

Phase 2: Brand Protection & Awareness:

  • As the campaigns began to stabilize, I created more of such symptom-based campaigns focused around other symptoms experienced by menopausal women.

  • I also launched Brand campaigns early to control messaging as search interest increased.

  • Ran competitor comparison ads to position Parlor Games as the safer, more accessible alternative.

Phase 3: Conversion & Subscription Focus:

  • As we tared seeing more results, I introduced Google Ads-exclusive offers and coupons.

  • We tested landing page variations to align with different keyword intents (e.g., “reviews,” “is estriol cream safe,” “how to use estriol cream”).

  • This is when I started focusing on the LTV (Lifetime Value) of subscription customers and optimized toward those keywords that brought in repeat buyers.

The Results (Most Recent):

  • Ad Spend Growth: From $10/day to $3,500/day, scaled steadily with ROAS > 4x
  • Sales Volume: From ~200 units/month to 29,058 units/month
  • Subscription Growth: +65% in active subscribers
  • Revenue Growth: +152% increase in monthly recurring revenue
  • Cost per Subscription: Reduced by 78% over time
  • Conversion Rate: Improved by 3.2x via keyword refinement and landing page A/B testing

Why It Worked:

This wasn’t a short-term hack. We built a solid system that brings in sales every single day, even without daily changes.
